An oven quits in stages. First the roast takes an extra half hour. Then the preheat beep lies. Then nothing gets hot at all. Behind those symptoms sit a short list of parts: bake and broil elements, igniters on gas models, temperature sensors, thermostats, control boards, door hinges and gaskets that let heat leak into the kitchen. A visit starts with questions about what you baked and when it changed. Then we test the element or igniter for draw, read the sensor's resistance, and check the door seal and hinge tension. We repair all major brands as an independent shop across our twelve Midwest states. Call us and tell us what the oven is doing.

Worth a look before you call — sometimes it saves you the visit.
Usually one heat source is doing all the work. A failed broil element or a lazy igniter leaves the bake side struggling alone. A sensor reading high can also stop the cycle early. Testing tells us which. Call us with the model number.
Sensors are sealed probes, so they get replaced rather than repaired. The good news is the part sits at the back wall and comes out with two screws. We measure its resistance cold before deciding anything.
Treat unlit gas seriously. If you smell gas, shut the supply valve, open windows, and step outside before calling. Clicking with no smell usually means the ignition circuit is trying and failing, which is a repair, not an emergency.
Self-clean pushes cavity temperatures very high, and that heat is hard on door latches, thermal fuses, and control boards. On older ranges we suggest hand cleaning instead. Many no-heat calls arrive the day after a self-clean cycle.
Not the way it wrecks dishwashers, but steam ovens and steam-clean cycles do build scale in their reservoirs and lines. Mineral crust can plug the water port. If your oven has a steam feature, mention it when you call.
Yes. Stairs and tight landings are normal for us across the Midwest. Tell us about the access when you schedule so we plan for it. We work on wall ovens, freestanding ranges, and slide-ins from all major brands.
Call us or fill out the form. Describe the noise, the smell, the error code, the puddle. We ask about the brand and rough age so the van carries likely parts.
Our technician tests the machine instead of guessing. Water lines, heating elements, drain pumps, control boards. Then we explain what failed, in plain words, before any wrench turns.
Common parts ride with us, so many repairs finish that visit. Special-order parts get scheduled promptly. We run the cycle with you watching, then haul off the old part and packaging.
Ask these of anyone you let into your home — us included. Call and we'll answer all five before you book anything.
Describe the symptoms and we'll book the visit — takes about a minute.
